Not So Good News

My lining is unexplainable. I've been taking the right medications to boast it up and nothing. Dr. Jarrett gave us two options: 1) to add another drug and recheck next week; or 2) have a period and start the process over with no drugs. We chose the latter. We are going to see how my body develops naturally. If this doesn't work we will then re-evaluate our situation. He did mention a third option which is have someone carry the embryo for us. I don't even want to think about that option just yet.

The frozen embryo that we have now has a 50% chance of surveying the thawing process and a 10% chance of implanting in the uterus. So at this point we are working against the odds. The numbers are discouraging; however, I'm trying to keep positive. I am really tired emotionally and mentally. Dr. Jarrett recommends that I have accupunture to relieve some stress and get some relaxation. Brad mentioned just getting a massage but I'd have to get one every week for weeks. :-) That actually sounds pretty good.

The IVF blog will be dormant for a while until I go back for a recheck.
