Dtrs appt

I'm still waiting to start my meds. Hopefully within a day or so. I'm tired of waiting. I do go see Dr. Matzner on Monday. Hopefully he can give me some ideas and I go through with the accupunture.

It's been a trying week. I'm tired physically and emotionally drained. The weekend weather is suppose to be crappy but may be I can get some good rest.

Going Forward

We met with Dr. Jarrett this morning. Blood work was taken to check my estrogen level. If it is low I will go right in taking meds. I will have a cycle and then I will start three different medications to try to get my lining to thicken. If this plan fails we will have to make the decision of whether we want to find a surrogate or donate the egg. If I am able to go through with the transfer and the egg doesn't implant, we have a one more chance to retrieve eggs.

I feel good about the above plan but also weary of starting at square one again. I don't want to threw away the chances we have, but on the other hand how much more can I handle?

I've reschedule my appointment with Dr. Matzner. Hopefully I can get the accupunture scheduled soon.

Next Steps

Got a call back from Teresa. She and Linda have been brainstorming about what I can do. Unfortunately they couldn't offer anything at this point. I have an appointment set with Dr. Jarrett next Wednesday. I cancelled my appointment with Dr. Matzner just until I talk with Dr. Jarrett. I need to know what my options are before I go forward with accupuncture and whatever else Dr. Matzner is going to recommend.

Back Down Again

My lining went back down again. It is a 2.6. Linda is going to talk with the doctor and hopefully get me in to see him. She recommended me talking with someone about my emotional roller coaster ride. I will look into it. I'm also contemplating cancelling the appointment with Dr. Matnzer I have Wednesday. I will decide after I hear from Linda.

Low Levels

Just spoke with Maleah. My estradiol level is 20. It should be 80 or above; however, my lining is a 4.6, better than the past first ultra sound. So, it's still up in the air if this is going to work. I have a re-check on Monday.

Another Update

I had an ultra sound done today. My lining is still pretty thin. It doesn't look like my body's natural cycle is working; however, it's still early and a recheck will be done on Monday. I had to get blood drawn to check my estradiol level. If the level is 80 or above it means it's going somewhere. Meleah will talk with Dr. Jarrett and get back to me today.
