Started Medications

I started my medications on Friday the 26th. Went to the doctor on Saturday for an ultra sound. The lining was 3.4, which is where it should be. I take one drug three times a day, another four times a day and I have two patches that I change every other day. I'm taking a crazy amount of drugs. I am starting to feel the affects with my horomones changing every day. Some days I just want to cry and others I just want to run away. I'm even starting to wonder if I'm doing the right thing and if I'm a good parent or not. The emotions are wild.

I go back for another ultra sound on June 7. Then I will find out if the medication is working and how much longer it is needed. I anticipate if everything goes well then I will be going over for the transfer either June 15 or 16.

I am doing another acupunture session today. It will probably be my last as Dr. Matzner goes on vacation. I think next week I will schedule a massage in place of the acupunture just to get some quiet time and relaxation.

New Update

It's been a while so I thought I'd update my blog.

As I mentioned I did go back to Dr. Matzner. I decided to do acupucture. I've gone three times and today is my fourth appointment. I think the flow of energy theory is true. I've had more energy over the past couple of weeks but so much that I'm not sleeping that good. I had started walking every night so that could also be giving me more energy. I plan to do acupunture a few more times.

I should be starting the new drugs after this weekend. Once I do I will have a more detailed update and know exactly where I'm going from here.

Ok to go forward

I had blood drawn yesterday morning. The results turned out ok. FSH level is where its suppose to be and estradiol level is high; however, Dr. Garrett okayed me to start my medication. Next month I will start 3 more meds. At that point I will have an ultra sound and we will see what happens.

In the meantime, I've gone back to see Dr. Matzner. He gave me the results of a few tests that he performed at my initial appointment. The results are: I have a lot of stress (imagine that!), my neck area has severe subluxations and my sacrum area has mild. He recommended that I talk with the nutritionist, which I did, and now I'm scheduled to go back next Monday to see both of them together. Brad will accompany me. There are a few things that I don't quite understand so that's why I've asked Brad to go. He is quick at getting the point and can ask questions on hand. I have realized that a medical doctor is different than an acupunctrist/chiropractor. Their studies are very different.

My diagnosis of all of this: Stress. I'm crazy tired, stressed over family friction, and I believe I need a weeks vacation on an ocean front, perhaps by myself.
